Fri 4Jul
Very Plus 1

We drew inspiration for the next Very event from the constant calls of happy couples who met at Zouk, wanting to take their wedding pictures; BIG SUCCESS!

Matchmakers would kill for such a track record, so we thought, why not actually throw a single’s event and send odds through the roof!

Nothing too contrived, just attractive people and a handful of activities to help those game, break the ice. Try “speed- speed dating” , “hit the spot” – a target game to win a pair of drinks or for the painfully shy, just let the “Afrodisiacs” – our afro clad group of facilitators help make the introductions and buoy the small talk.

Simple stickers to tell others what you love and hate will help everything along.

For the spectator in you, the party will wrap with the audience helping to match our 2 sporting contestants in the “Blind Date Challenge”. Watch suitors go through a round of cheeky Q&A, with each right answer bringing them a step closer to winning a romantic dinner. The audience will have to help them pick the right suitor since the 2 will not be able to see for themselves.

To keep the crowd tight and right, you must be single to attend or come with a single friend.

To get on the guestlist RSVP to our Very Plus 1 event on the Zouk group at facebook or email
alyssa@zoukclub.com with header, Very Plus 1.

Zouk to Host Electrico's First Stop of 'We Satellites' Album Promotion Tour

One of the nation’s most acclaimed and best-loved bands, Electrico, will officially launch their album at Zouk, a supporter of the band since their first album release in 2004. Performing a completely new repertoire of songs for their fans for the first time, expect to hear a darker, more cohesive, richer and fuller sound and anticipate a more diverse and mature band.

Featuring excellent keyboard talents and varied, wide-ranging vocals with emotional and vivid lyrics, Electrico breaks the mold of many of today’s carbon copies.

Experience Electrico live, at their best, with a high-octane performance, that’s sure to impress and amaze.
